Fiber cement, vinyl, LP, shingle and custom metal — quality work by quality crews. Every job is measured on site and quoted in writing, with the products and colours named.

Completed siding installation by Watson Exteriors

Siding

James Hardie fiber cement — "Hardie Board" — resists rot and shrugs off hailstorms for decades. Vinyl is the value pick: fast to install, huge colour range, easy to patch a single elevation.

Quality workmanship,
no surprises.

Watson Exteriors was founded in 2016 to do exterior work the way it should be done: measured properly, priced clearly, and finished by installers who care what the wall looks like from the street. Devon built the company and still sets the standard every crew is held to.

Why choose us

Why homeowners
choose Watson.

Exterior contracting across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba — siding, roofing, windows and gutters, handled by one company from the first inspection to the final walkthrough.

Hail damage & insurance claims

Storm season is most of our work. We inspect the roof and every elevation properly, photograph what the storm actually hit, and review the images with you — then meet your adjuster on site so the claim reflects the real damage.

Quality work by quality crews

Every crew on a Watson Exteriors job is held to the same standard, whoever is holding the nail gun. Experienced leads, insured and WCB covered, and work we are willing to put our name on.

James Hardie & premium materials

Fiber cement, vinyl, LP, Class 4 impact-rated shingles and custom-bent metal. We name the exact product and colour in the quote so you know what is going on the wall.

Written scope, no surprise costs

On-site estimates are $150 and you get real value for it: a measured scope in writing with products, colours and square footage, backed by photographs we review with you. If something changes mid-job you hear it from us before it reaches the invoice.

Licensed, insured, WCB covered

Full liability insurance and WCB coverage on every job, and we hold the crews we bring on to the same standard. Family-run in Calgary since 2016.

Clean site, proper walkthrough

The site is cleaned daily and magnet-swept before we leave, and nobody sends a final invoice until you have walked the exterior with us and signed off on it.

Serving all of Western Canada — Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

How a job runs

Three steps, no mystery.

Step 01

On-site measure

We walk the property, measure every elevation and photograph the problem areas — hail bruising, failed trim, soft sheathing — then review those photos with you.

Step 02

Written quote

You get a fixed scope with the exact products, colours and square footage. If insurance is involved, we deal with the adjuster.

Step 03

Install & walkthrough

Our crews install, clean the site daily, and finish with a walkthrough before the final invoice goes out.

Common questions

Before you book.

How do you price a siding or roofing job?

Every job is measured on site. Pricing depends on elevations, storeys, the condition of the existing sheathing, the products you choose and how much scaffolding the site needs — which is why we won't quote a square-foot rate over the phone. On-site estimates are $150, and you get a written scope with the exact products, colours and square footage, plus the photographs behind it.

Do you handle hail damage insurance claims?

Yes. We document the damage, meet the adjuster on site where possible, and supply the scope and photos your insurer needs. Across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba most hail claims cover siding, roofing, screens and eavestrough together.

What is Class 4 shingle and is it worth it?

Class 4 is the top impact-resistance rating for asphalt shingles. Across the prairie hail belt — southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba — many insurers offer a premium discount for it, so the upgrade often pays for part of itself over the life of the roof.

Which areas do you serve?

All of Western Canada — Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Calgary and the surrounding communities are our home base, and we travel for larger projects across the prairies.
